Boston fishing season

Spring

We welcome the start of the fishing season in the Spring. Fish will be coming back to the area in large numbers … Stripped Bass (Stripers), Pollack, Bluefin, Fluke (Summer Flounder), Atlantic Cod and Haddock. This is a great time to get out on the water, the fish are hungry, and hanging around the boats more. Get ready to bring some fresh fish home for dinner!

Summer

Summer is really the ultimate time for fishing in Boston! With lots of fish in the Bay, you and your guests will easily catch the fast and powerful Striped Bass and Bluefish. Offshore fishing is exciting and something every fishing enthusiast needs to experience! Tuna are biting, and your chances to see a Mako or Blue shark are high! Imagine! If you’re lucky, we might even see a Great White. Inshore or offshore fishing are great in the summer.

Fall

Early Fall is a wonderful time to fish - there’s just so many to catch! Schools of Tuna, large Stripers, Pollack, Bluefin, Winter & Summer Flounder, Haddock, Atlantic Cod, sharks and more. As the cold winter arrives, the big fish head South first, while the smaller great-fighting fish crowd around inshore and we get ‘em while they are hungry!
